Within the project “European Cooperation Bridges for Occupational Health and Safety” funded by the Directorate General for Enlargement, a follow up seminar named “Risk assessment in the area of occupational safety and health” was organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Labor and Protection of Veterans and Disabled Persons of RS and Republic Inspectorate of RS.
The seminar was held on May 23rd 2012 and it was attended by the representatives of organizations licensed for performing activities of occupational safety and health and risk assessment at workplace, representatives of medical institutions and employers where the risk assessment at workplace and in work environment is performed, inspection representatives and representatives of workers.
Once again, the seminar was attended by the experts from Finland who shared their knowledge on risk assessment at workplace practices in Finland, EU OHS strategy and related policies, positive economical influences of investment in OHS, and practical examples of good OHS investment practices from Finland.
After the seminar, a tour for some of the participants was organized to a factory where Finnish experts completed a practical demonstration of risk assessment for a welder’s workplace.
